As an IT enthusiast, I'm interested in a 'getting started' guide for writing plugins, understanding the protocols between the slimserver client and the server, and so on. Is there a good starting place which can start me off on this journey of discovery?

ThanksBesides the Wiki I would also suggest that you look at the source of some plugin that does something similar to what you are trying to do. If you have some specific question after you have started the development, just post in the Developers section of this forum.
