I would like the ability to have Slimserver use different web skins for different browsers. For instance always use the Handheld skin when I'm using my PDA, but otherwise use a more normal skin. Is this possible now (6.5.1)?

It seems like it'd be an easy code change with one more checkbox on the settings page and one persistent cookie...

You can always access the page differently from the different computers/browsers, for example like:

http://localhost:9000/Default/
or
http://localhost:9000/Fishbone/
instead of just using:
http://localhost:9000

Bookmark http://yourserver:9000/Handheld/ or http://yourserver:9000/EN/ or
whatever skin you want.

I assume you know you can append the skin to the URL: http://localhost:9000/fishbone , and bookmark that page in the browser/desktop.

I've always thought a browser sniffing feature would be nice.

I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't know you could append skin names to the URL. That'll do just fine for me.

Thanks!
