What is going on with the forums and list connection?

I've seen three posts that are in the wrong threads. Two of which are from KDF.

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=31779 - see posts 3 and 5

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=32044 - pretty sure post 4 should be in another thread too

there could well be others too. No-one else noticed this?

Sigh - this has been a long-running problem that several people have mentioned several times as it is really frustrating. It's caused by people posting messages via the web forum. The web forum doesn't generate unique message id's. Seems to be when a person posts two messages in quick succession (within the same minute maybe?)

I raised bug report 2712 over a year ago (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2712). Please vote for it.

Voting appears to be disabled for the lists.slimdevices.com product. :/

Ah, ok. I didn't relaise this was the same problem again.

that'll be why it happened to KDF twice then, after all, he did reply to a post before it actually made it to the forum once :)

I've also been having intermittent isp issues. Around the same period
of time as the forum posts in question, I had 3 others bounced right
back at me by the gateway claiming an invalid subject line. Frankly,
I'm surprised that it lasted this long with Dan on vacation :)
