Are you running IP Chains, AKA a firewall on the server? It could be
killing the remote audio stream.

Nope, everything is either a word character, an underscore, a
forward-slash, or a period. I can see plenty of traffic getting to the
squeezebox, so it's not choking on the feed, per se. It's simply not
pushing any audio to the input on my system (or so it seems).

The server is running iptables. I've allowed tcp:3483 and
udp:3483/1069, per the FAQ.
