    blank songs

My hypothesis on this matter is that the squeezebox/slimserver has problems
with many special characters--maybe something to do with the Unicode issue
    already discovered.

It seemed like the songs that wouldn't play were random--but then when an
entire Björk album wouldn't play I figured it out.

    Squeezebox/Slimserver doesn't like special characters--including:
    ö (as in Björk)
Ü (as in California Über Alles)
    é (as in Mapeyé)

This seems like something that should be easy to address.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Phillip

The full latin1 character set does work for characters in tags, but
we've had a report that filenames with non-ASCII tags are problematic.
The bug has been filed and we'll be fixing it soon.

I can confirm this to be a bug. Files with Scandinavian/Danish letters in
      them (æ, ø, å) don't play either.

      Best regards,
