Try typing this (as root) and see if it makes a difference:

arp -s 172.16.1.51 00:04:20:04:03:4B

Where 172.16.1.51 is the player's IP address and 00:04:20:04:03:4B is
the player's MAC address.

Try typing this (as root) and see if it makes a difference: arp -s 172.16.1.51 00:04:20:04:03:4B Where 172.16.1.51 is the player's IP address and 00:04:20:04:03:4B is the player's MAC address.

Any chance of getting remote access to your system so I can
troubleshoot this?

Sean,
FYI, the problem does not appear to return if I restart the server. But
does return if I reboot the machine.
I assume I'd need to give you a telnet login with some privileges and
somehow get you past my firewall. I'm not sure how to do either right
now. I can usually figure this kind of stuff out given some time, but if
you can tell me what to do, that's quicker :)
