Anyone else have this problem? I just purchased my fourth Squeezebox yesterday. My wife noticed the new SB3 immediately but she had no complaints as she enjoys the SB’s as much as I do.

I now have:

SB3 – in my dedicated audio room

SB3 – with my living room audio/video gear

SB2 – in the bedroom

SB-G will now be used as a “portable” player, on the deck, in the garage, for headphones, etc.

Needless to say, I love these things. Maybe I need "help" with my squeeze-o-holic problem.

SB3 in the Livingroom
SB3 in the Bedroom

This is in one bedroom appartment, or i would probably have more :)

Also have a SliMP3 sitting in a cupboard waiting for me to decide what to do with it. I was thinking of giving my partents a SB3 and remotely connect it to my server with bitrate limiting (MP3 @ 128kb), but they have several rooms it would be good in. Might end up giving them my QNap TS-101 for a server too...

EDIT: Meant to say, i'm on the hunt for a SB, SB-G and SB2 as well so i have the collection :D

Luckily enough my girlfriend and I have separate home offices. Enough
space to put a few more devices :-)

I'm not sure we could help to curb your addiction. Maybe if you visited the Rok... feeling woozy, hold on..

OK, back. Nevermind that last comment and enjoy your Squeezeboxen! I'm due for at least 2 more in the near future. (own a SB2 & SB3)

I've got 5 - Den, Living Room, Garage, and 2 Bedrooms. We also have 2 offices which can tap the library.

When you have so much time, effort, and expense tied up in creating an awesome digital music collection, it makes sense to access it from every room.

Of course, you could. Just add a little of good old religion.
If you let Jesus into your life there's no place for addiction, is there? ;)

I have a SliMP3 that is now resting in a cardboard box after an active
life. My SB1 is still working in one bedroom. This year I added four
SB3's to my setup in the living room, kitchen, office and master
bedroom. But addiction isn't the right word. If you use a room, why not
add the option of quality sound to it?

Peter

Put another one in your kitchen!
Kitchen is galley style off the living room, so there really isn't a need for one. Have thought abou reversing the stand on the SliMP3 and mounting under the cupboards though :)

Two SB3's - one in lounge, one in study, each feeding a preamp/poweramp combo.

one question to everyone out there with multiple SBs - what are you connecting them to - a hi-fi & speakers in every room can get very expensive very quickly?

I use a set of active studio monitors in my living room and T-Amps with
fairly basic speakers everywhere else.

Transporter in lounge.

SB2 in Kitchen driving cheap and nasty Philips all-in-one system.

SB2 recently displaced from lounge - about to be moved to bedroom to drive a Tivoli One.

I guess I don't see the point in having a fancy hi-fi if the acoustics, background noise and listening position don't justify it.

I installed my first SB3 in the family room a couple of months ago. I bought my second a couple of weeks ago, but I'm still trying to devise a good under-the-cupboard mounting solution for it in the kitchen. It will run through a T-Amp (also sitting under the clutter) and some modest speakers.

SB3 on the mantelpiece with a pair of Edirol MA-20Ds, SB2 in the
office with a Tivoli Model Two and subwoofer, SB1 in my son's room
with some cheap and cheesy 2.1 PC speakers. I just ordered a set of
Logitech 2.1 PC speakers for my daughter's room, there's another SB3
coming this week and it's time to shuffle devices :)

SB3 in audio room to PSB Stratus Golds.

SB3 in entertainment center to NHT SB3's (aptly named I might add)

SB2 in bedroom to old Radio Shack speakers

SBG to boombox or other cheap system for portability.

Trying to figure out what speakers to use in the shower. :)

I realize you said SB3, but awhile back someone on these boards cracked open a SB2, inverted the display board, put it back together, and hung the whole thing "upside-down" underneath a kitchen cabinet.

Though new to these boards, I have been with slim devices since the very early slim3 days. Had three of those babies.

I am now all wireless. Two SB3s and one SB2. My set-up, though definitely not completely utilyzing the technology to the fullest:

SBIII in the media room, toslink to my multichannel theatre sound system

SBIII in the BR. audio out to a Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 computer speaker system. ( For background bedroom listening, sounds pretty darn good)

SBII in den. audio out to another Klipsch system. Toslink to a denon amp hooked to yamaha outdoor speaker system to listen on the back patio.

Softsqueeze on an old laptop in my office hooked to yet a third Klipsch system (for the price, 210 US, they sound pretty good)

At work, Winamp on my work computer streaming from my home SS.

SS running on a new P4 system. music on a ReadyNAS system. (migrated SS off the ReadyNAS due to s l o w browser reponse and the inability to "down convert" my mp3 to 192 to allow me to stream them to work.

Anyway, thats my system. For now . . . . . .

(btw, I LOVE my slimserver and squeezeboxes)
