Hi,

Is there any way to manage favorites with a webinterface (slimserver)? I have a bunch of URLs I'd like to add to my favorites, and delete a bunch of existing ones but I'd rather not do it through the SB interface.

Thanks,
grimholtz

you can move and delete, but there is currently no ability to add.

alternatively, you can use the MyPicks plugin (available from
wiki.slimdevices.com)

Thanks. Two more questions:

Are favorites stored in each SB or in slimserver?
Any way to synchronize favorites across all SB (and softsqueezes)?

Latest version of MyPicks allows importing and exporting to favorites - so you can edit and then save your favorites using it. Available at:

They are stored in slimserver and are common for all players attached to slimserver, hence they are automatically synchronised between players.

Thanks. I've tried this, and it looks like it stores its own favorites in the OPML file. Is that correct? Am I missing something, or can I manage the built-in favorites SB menu with MyPicks?

The original functionality was mainly loading, editing and saving OPML files but IIRC additions were made last version to use the same editing interface to allow users to
* import of Slimservers favorites
* edit the favorites
* export back to Slimserver favorites.
