I will try again to get a reply...
I tried posting this to the ripping list, and got not reply (in a few weeks
time) so I will try again and also post to the 'general' list, and hope....

----------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I have read these threads:
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=21161
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24007
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=15573

And I have tried to find the equivilent setting in Server 2000 for the XP
setting of:
Windows control panel --> Regional and Language Options -->
Advanced -->Language for non-Unicode programs.
But it is, of course, different in Server....(Love the Microsoft Guys!)

Running SlimServer Version: 6.5.1 - 10007 - Windows 2000 - EN - cp1252 on a
Win 2000 Server. Service Pack 4 and all the latest Patches.

Any help would be appriciated, as I am a bit tired of seeing:
a.. Title: Храни (Среди Старых Кассет)
a.. Artist: Digital Machine

in the Web interface and on the Transporter screen.

You probably should add a description of your problem as well, not only a
list of what you've already done. All I know is that you're tired of
seeing "Digital Machine" on your player's display?

The problem is the Cyrillic characters do not display in the OS or on the
Transporter correeclty.

I have already tried following the instructions in the previous posts that I
mentioned and it seems that I need to find the equililant setting in 2000
Server as the XP
setting of:
Windows control panel --> Regional and Language Options -->
Advanced -->Language for non-Unicode programs.

As that looks like the solution that worked for others in the same
situation.
