I installed 6.5.0 only to find a couple of, er, surprises.

1) When viewing the HTML interface to slim server, I got a javascript error when the (right-side) Squeezebox pane attempted to automatically refresh. The error icon appeared in at the bottom left hand side of the browser (IE 6) and when i clicked on it, I got a javascript error that was something like:

"Ajax" not defined.

2) I also found that suddenly there was no link for browsing by Artwork. Huh? You wouldn't just take functionality away without telling us before we upgrade would you?

Fortunately, I managed to remove 6.5.0 and re-install the 6.3.1 version which has never given me any problems at least for now making me a once again happy customer.

Has anyone else had these problems with 6.5+ and were they overcome?

Given that I use Slim Serve to power a commercially purchased squeezebox, it concerns me that I can find two major issues in mere minutes that somehow made it into a final release. While I know that open-source is always susceptible to these issues, it seems that Slim need to be more vigilent when it accompanies a $300 piece of hardware!

known bug, fixed in 6.5.1 nightly builds.

Browse Albums, then look to the right near the top. an icon there
will change the view from list to "gallery" view.
