I made a minor change to the default skin to stop the playlist Save¦Download¦Clear commands from scrolling with the playlist and instead moved it into the status header.

The only thing I couldn't figure out is how to get the spacer image to appear, so the playlist has no visible separator from the commands above it.

I've attached the files I changed as I don't have svn acesss. Perhaps they could be considered for inclusion in 6.5.1 or 7.

I'd also like to figure out how to add an "Add Next" icon to the left hand frame track display in addition to the existing Add icon, mimicing the command performed when Add is held down on the remote.

At present you have to add to the bottom of the playlist and then move the song item by item up the playlist which is a bit of a pain.
I'm assuming this is possible.

Fishbone has this functionality. You could refer to how that is implemented.

cmdwrappers_default:

[%- WRAPPER insertlink -%][%- PROCESS cmdHRef cmdType='insert' -%][%- END %]

KDF - well done finding that bug. I knew one existed as you mentioned it a while ago, but it's title is pretty obscure.

I still can't figure out why the spacer <img> tag in my code doesn't seem to work. It's in the output html and the URL seems correct but I don't get the expected gap produced by a 1 pixel gif.

I'll give the cmdwrapper section an edit and see what happens.
I'm trying to think of what a "Play next" or "Add Next" icon should look like.

Might be the fact that the skin is using a lot of css now. The pixel
might not sit where you think it should.

Yes you're correct, the spacer.gif is sitting inline with the other content when I expected it to appear on the next line.
I've had this problem before, and I think I fixed it using a <span> tag.
