I'm beginning to feel like one of those idiots who keep sending stupid
questions to mailing lists...and I suspect you're all beginning to feel
that way about me. Last time on this subject, I promise.

I received my Squeezebox today and got it set up and working. However,
I still can't get iTunes to play properly. If I tell SlimServer to use
iTunes, I can see the library, genres, etc., properly, but nothing plays
(I get the "Stopped" message). I've tried the tricks from the FAQ but
no go. My music lives on a separate drive (F:, for what it's worth) on
my Windows XP system. Any tricks I can try or should I just live with
browsing the music folder?

Thanks again.

Jeff,

Are your songs encoded in MP3 or AAC format? If it's AAC, you'll need
to install a copy of LAME to get them converted for playback on the
fly.

(Another approach would be to use iTunes to convert the files to MP3 en
masse and avoid the overhead of real-time conversion.)
