How does one remove the Title and Artist from under the ArtWork view but keep the mouseover Title and Artist in 6.5?

currently, you can't. In 7.0a1 builds, there is an experimental ui (meaning it may go away if people don't like it or if it becomes annoying to maintain) that allows you to click a link to make the text appear or disappear in the fishbone skin.

for current releases, you'll have to resort to editing a file.

Look for the file, HTML/EN/cmdwrappers under the slimserver install location.
open it with any text editor (notepad, vi, etc)
Look for the [% BLOCK galleryitem %], around line 150
Near the end of that section, around line 180 you can remove the line:
[%- content | indent(4) %]

with that gone, the text under the image will no longer be there.

installing any newer version of slismerver will require redoing this edit.

Will this still allow the mouse over with the Album and Artist name to still appear?

yes. the removed line is only the text below the artwork. the
mouseOver effect is handled elsewhere.

That didn't take care of it. The text is still there.

This has been working for me until the most recent nightly build from last night. Now, even with the line edited the captions still show up. I am also using Fishbone
