Hello All,

I have done this in the past using ver 6.2, but I am just not sure how to get it to work in 6.5 My setup is Mac OS X 10.4.7. I have added the 2 radio stations into playlists, further when I get Slimserver to rescan all my playlists, the new playlist appears, but it has no entries in it.

Further, when I attempt to "listen to url" to listen to a radio station, I just cannot do it. Unfortunately the playlist page makes no sense whatsover. Each playlist has a a play sign and a + sign, and I have no idea what it means. I click on the + sign and the software prompts me to over write things. I keep looking for documentation and there is nothing to be found.

Any thoughts or writeups on how I can get streaming url's to play? Please note the di.fm url's are just regular mp3 streaming urls, no real/wma stuff here.

I can't help with your specific problem, but you may be interested in the WikiRadio plugin (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?WikiRadio). Install that and you'll get all the di.fm stations (and a lot more) in a nice menu.

Are you using a single playlist with multiple urls in ?

If so, it won't work. See either this thread (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27821&page=2&highlight=playlist+empty) or this bug (http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4092).

As radish says, the MyPicks plugin is a good alternative.

Radish & Siduhe,

Thanks for your response. I have managed to get things working, but there is 1 glitch that I found out.

I am a premium subscriber of DI.fm, I tried entering an url in the following format.

http://www.di.fm/listen/trance/192k.pls?user=userid&pass=passwd

When I save it and try to play it, things go bersek and my SlimServer instance just freezes up. I have to do a Stop Server/Start Server routine to wake up the server again. Any thoughts on how I can get around this problem? I do have another choice which does work, but I am reluctant to use. When I download the listen.pls file from di.fm's web site and look at the contents of the file they have an entry like this.

http://userid:passwd@128.177.3.80:8000

When I save this entry, things work fine, but it seems like every so often these specific ip's sound crappy, so I would prefer using a generic url as given initially.

Thanks for providing a prompt alternative right away!
