Hi,

As SlimServer 6.5 uses MySQL as its' database, I'm wondering if I downloaded "MySQL Administrator" or a similar tool could I interact with the SlimServer database?

If so, what connection parameters etc. would be needed to browse the database.

I'm a db developer at work (SQL Server/Oracle) and this is just out of professional curiosity.

Thanks

It's running on non-standard port 9092 (not sure about this, have a look
at slimserver/MySQL/my.tt or something).

Yes, they work fine.

If you're on the same machine, you can login as slimserver (or root)
with no password. The default port's 9092 and the database is called
'slimserver'.

If you're on a remote machine, you need to remove the bind-address
from the my.tt file (server/MySQL folder) and restart mysqld..
