Quick question. Under SlimServer File Types settings, for WMA, e.g., I have:

Windows Media FLAC wmadec/flac (Checked)
Windows Media MP3 wmadec/lame
Windows Media WAV wmadec (Checked)
Windows Media Windows Media (built-in) (Checked)

Question. I only have WMA Lossless, I know SB3 does not have native WMA Lossless support, so it must either transcode to FLAC or WAV for streaming. Question is how do I know what is SlimServer doing? to FLAC or WAV when both are checked?

Thanks.

There's a preference order based on what the player supports. Assuming your player supports FLAC then that's the preferred option - it will use that if it can. Next is WAV, followed by MP3.

Thanks! So I assume it should be converting to FLAC most of the time as SB3 natively supports FLAC correct?

That's correct. You can go into server settings->debugging,check
d_source and view the log if you want to confirm. The log will then
show the exact command line used for transcoding.
