There 2 brightness options on the old Slimp3 so I guess they've been carried
over to the SqueezeBox. You should be able to set the default 'standby' and
'on' brightness via the preferences. Hence the 'standby' brightness is quite
dim and the 'on' brightness is fairly bright so you can see what's going on.
