I can load the page on my laptop but cannot get it to load without a
404 on my Palm TC. Same on the T3 I have ...

I get to the password prompt, enter it and then the 404 without
password protection I am also unable to connect - get the 404 again.

hmm... one more detail. One the Palm TC I cannot get anything to play
because I pop-ups are not supported. When I press the play or the plus
icon, I get that as an error.

How do WAV files get played by the squeezebox? Does it convert them on the
fly (using Lame) to MP3s or are they streamed in raw format. I would like
to get the music to the digi-out in the highest quality.

The Squeezebox plays PCM directly.
