I'm having an odd problem with Dutch public radio stations through the web:
mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/concertzender-breed?MSWMExt=.asf
mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/radio2-breed?MSWMExt=.asf
mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/radio3-breed?MSWMExt=.asf
mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/radio4-breed?MSWMExt=.asf

I am able to play these using SoftSqueeze (and WMP, WinAmp) and also through my SB3, when I use the SlimServer webinterface on a computer. But I can't start these stations through my SB3 itself. I have playlists for each of these that allowed me to start these stations up until a few weeks ago. Now it doesn't work anymore. The playlist files look like this:

-------------------------------
#CURTRACK 0
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:-1,Concertzender
mms://livemedia.omroep.nl/concertzender-breed?MSWMExt=.asf
-------------------------------

Thanks in advance,

Michel

Try storing them as a favorite or playlist once they're loaded through the
web interface. This might be easier than creating the file in a text
editor.

Thanks Michael, but that is exactly how I created them.
I did that some time ago, and just redid it to verify that they are still correct.

One more observation: after I start any of these stations through the webinterface for my SB3, I can stop and start that particular station, but not any of the others.

My SlimServer version: 6.3.1 - 8468 - Windows XP - NL - cp1252
SB3 has the latest firmware (the version that comes with 6.3.1).

I just tried it with 6.3.1 and have to admit that at first it wouldn't
play. I then had to hit play one more time to get it playing. But it did.

Thanks for your efforts Michael.

Through a website listing webstreams for all Dutch radiostations, I discovered a different mms server for three of the four mentioned radiostations. For anyone interested:

mms://wm6.xs4all.nl/streamgate44 (Radio 2)
mms://wm6.xs4all.nl/streamgate46 (3FM)
mms://wm6.xs4all.nl/streamgate48 (Radio 4)

Kind regards,

Michel

Have a look at WikiRadio here http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?WikiRadio and this thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24080 for a great way to share internet streams.
