Hi all,

I would like to browse my music via the folder structure but still get the player to play in the correct track order. Is that possible?

If I browse after albums I have to many named Greatest Hits or similar...

your tags straightened out and then use the database (Browse Artists, Browse
Albums). Sounds like Browse Artists would do what you want.

Hi all,

The usual to make this work is to ensure that the track names have the track number included: eg "01 - Ruby Tuesday". Most rippers will do this for you automatically.

This means you will get the tracks in the right order if you use Browse Music Folder, and is probably good practice anyway for other arbitrary players that might not read tags.

Having said that, I do agree that getting tags sorted out is a good idea! (And, BTW, all my "Greatest Hits" albums are renamed to include the artist name).

HTH
