Hi,

I have a couple of radio streams I listen to frequently (one through Alien BBC, the other through the regular radio tuner). They play at very different volumes. Is there a way to use volume adjustment / replay gain to make them play at the same volume? I've searched the forums but not found any advice on this.

Thanks

Mark

slimserver-convert.conf can be modified to adjust the volume on Alien BBC - see the comments in the file:

# To boost volume, change resample=44100:0:1 to volume=x:sc,resample=44100:0:1, where x is a number e.g. 8

I have used x=10 but you may need to experiment to get the levels you want.

I have used the same mod on WinXP and Linux
