View Full Version : Edit Playlists via SlimServer Browser Interface?

I've added playlists easily, and I'm guessing I can edit on the server itself. However I want to edit playlists within Slimserver. How can I do this? If I delete some playlists originally established in iTunes, will they only be deleted as far as SlimServer's browser "Browse Playlist" is concerned, and remain for my use in iTunes/iPod?

I'm having a ball with Squeezebox. Next payday another one will find a home in my home.

Thanks for all the help!

Browse Playlists...and you'll see an EDIT button. you can then add
urls and move items

iTunes is read only to slimserver. playlists taken from iTunes cannot
be edited or removed.
you could load one to a player as a current playlist (play or add) then
save it as a new playlist.

I'm not locating the EDIT button on the right hand pane of Browse Playlists. Hmmm? I see menu of "Home/Browse Playlists" and "Items 1 to 50 of 123", and finally page numbers. This is on a Mac using Safari. Any thoughts?

That sounds like the left pane...
