You can pull Dolby Digital AC-3 off of a DVD with DVD Backup and drop
it onto your drive:

no idea what to do from there.

Like I said, "I can do it with DVD... but SACDs are impenetrable so
far as I can tell."

So, same issue. AC3 from Squeezebox would be awesome, but how we'd
get content for it is still a bit of a mystery.
