Anyone know of a way I can add a right-click action in Windows XP for
MP3 files to add to the current SLIMP3 playlist? Sometimes its easier to
just use Windows explorer rather than the full-blown web interface if I
want to add something to the playlist right away.

I'd imagine it could be done with a registry hack that calls the HTTP
interface and then closes the window, but I'm not sure of the mechanics
behind that.

Thanks and happy Thanksgiving!

I could imagine a perl (or other) script which uses the CLI (see
http://yourserver:9000/html/docs/crestronCLI.html). But there are few
problems: how does your server know the exact path to the file? My
slimserver is running on a Linux box while I'm working in Windows. I see a
file in eg. "m:\Peter Gabriel\1 (Car)\01 - Moribund the
Burgermeister.mp3". What's this on my Linux server? Or, even worse, you
use it on a locally (c:\) stored file. No way for your server to play it!

But yes, I'm sure it could be done.
