I tried opening the file you attached, but IE just shows the source code. I
don't see a table and the page doesn't refresh. I imagine I am doing
something wrong, but I'm not sure what.

ah! something that makes at least some sense now :)
perhaps try a very simple html page that includes the same tags. Lets at
least
eliminate the SlimServer from this issue. I've included a stripped down
file
with just a table frame that gets wider over 10s then refreshes. The image
is a
dead link, but it works to make the table change.

See if this makes any diff, when you have time.

maybe something in mailman messes with html. try this instead. it may be slow
since my server is a bit off par lately but it shoudl work:
