Has this been ported yet? If not will it?

softsqueeze is java, 770 doesn't do java, so methinks not.

there is, however, softslave, which I believe is written in c or c++, so it potentially could be ported to the 770. I have no experience with porting apps to the 770 though, so someone else will have to pipe in with that.

The 770 runs the Maemo distribution. It's GNU/Linux. I believe most of
the available apps are written for GCC. The new version has support for
building applications in Python. Graphics are GTK. There is a custom
interface kit called Hildon.

If SoftSlave is GCC/GTK, then the porting /might/ be /relatively/
straightforward.
