View Full Version : Disabling SlimServer on boot

2006-06-23, 12:17
Hi - I have slimserver installed on a machine that I only use as my music server part of the time & so I dont mind only starting Slimserver when I need to.

Problem is, I cant seem to stop it running slim.exe every time I boot my PC - I've removed the program from the Startup Menu & tried disabling the startup call using Spybot S&D but it still manages to start! Anyone managed to prevent this ?

Try Run - "services.msc". Find SlimServer, double-click and set it to manual.
