This may be picky, but the standard/fishbone skins (probably all) in the web
UI do a clicking sound everytime they refresh. This gets annoying if you
have a PC with the web page up for a while.

I don't think this is a function of IE. Figured the web pages are doing
that explicitly.

Anyone know how to turn this off?

Thanks
BTW, running version 5.0, but older revs did it as well.

It is a feature of IE and has nothing to do with slimserver. It makes a
click everytime it loads a web page. If you want to turn it off, you can
remove the sound from Windows Control Panel (look for the Start Navigation
sound and remove the default click).

Anyone know if a web page can disable this for itself? I find the
click sound generally desirable in IE, but wish I could turn it off
specifically for the slimserver web UI, because it will eventually
drive me insane.

There is NO way to change this. It is a function of windows sound settings and
IE. Your options are to change the refresh so that you at least go insane
slower, turn that sound event off in the windows sound settings, or dowload
Mozilla Firebird, or Opera
