I wish that there was a feature where by I could program from home the times that the SB starts up and shuts down, say turn on at 8 a.m. and shut down at 9:15 p.m. How hard would this be? I also noticed tonight that when I attempted to program the alarm remotely and when I chose the source as loud rain and thunder it would constantly revert back to David Byrne.

Pretty straightforward really. If you're feeling handy you could even do it now with whatever scheduler your operating system has and a copy of wget.

Hmmm... you tried the integrated alarm clock? If this isn't enough, give
kdf's advanced alarm plugin a try. You can add more than one of them.

If this still isn't enough, you can use any schedular (cron, "planned
tasks" or something) to run some script starting/stopping playlists using
slimserver's CLI or some http requests (see technical documentation in the
slimserver's web interface for details).
