I was having the "browser stalls" problem. Thinkgs worked great from the player.

I downloaded the v2003-11-21 release... this improves the problem. With one
player going, I can point two browsers at the server and things work well. Nice
job, guys!

However, I saw the "browser stall" problem again when I had two Macs with
iTunes listening to the stream. Then, pointing a browser at the server produced
a complete stall. (When listening with iTunes to the stream, you must use a
browser to start/control the music.)

Ok

Latest nightly version fixed the Safari browser issue, but have another
problem when using iTunes playlists.

When set to play all songs in album / directory only the selected song
plays ... once song has finished it doesn't advance to next track ...
elasped time increments but doesn't toggle to next track.

Went looking prefs file .. having deleted the 'old' one - but cannot
find it ... doesn't appear to be in /users/dscott/ or root (having
installed it for all users on computer) ...

Any ideas ???

cheers

So .. maybe issue for "all users" installs ?? .. anyway one happy
camper agin

I believe that with the 5.x server, the prefs file is placed inside the
"Users/user_name/Library/SlimDevices" folder.

craig.
