Where is the DB located in 6.2.2? I would like to delete it and have SlimServer re-scan all of my music.

Thanks

Windows? C:/Program Files/Slimserver/server/Cache/slimserversql.db

Thanks. Looks like after deleting the DB, Slimserver automatically upon launch rescans the music folder. Is this correct or should I go into Server Settings and tell it to do so?

Yes, it automatically rescans. It must, since it requires the db to function.

Where is the DB under Linux?

It's in a file called slimserversql.db and in the debian package it's in /var/cache/slimserver. I think that the rpm and tarball may stick it somewhere else (user's home directory perhaps), but you can always just use a find / -type f -name slimserversql.db

With the rpm file it's /usr/local/slimserver/Cache - at least on my box :-)

Odd, I've entered the search command exactly as above and no hits.

I've been looking for a while and cant find it!

I'm running FC5, and Slimserver 6.2.2 if that makes a difference??

Try "locate slim | grep db"
