Is it just my imagination, or has there been some optimisation work put into 6.3? I recently upgraded to 6.3 from 6.2.2 (built on April 26th, so not the official release).
I've noticed that server response using both softsqueeze and from the web interface is much snappier.
Anybody else noticed this?

I'm running SlimServer 6.3 on Windows XP SP2, on an Intel P4 (2.5Ghz) PC with 1Gb RAM. I'm also using MySQL 5 as the database.

I'd be surprised. Looking at
http://svn.slimdevices.com/branches/BRANCH_6_3_x/server/

I can't see many changes which could affect overall performance.

Yeah, I don't think 6.3 has had many performance improvements, except
for the new RSS plugin which no longer blocks during network activity.

6.5 has received some recent performance improvements, though.
