Help needed : Itunes synch

Hi All,

Decided this morning to add more CD's to Itunes, and expected Slimserver to synch after a time delay (Ive set it to 100 sec). However slimserver refuses to pick up these new tracks, I can see them in itunes .. in the past this seemed to work seamlessly, however not anymore ..Im growing tired of open source software !

Im not sure which version of slimserver Im running, there doesnt seem a way of telling from the web interface if im on the latest or previous release.

Itunes 6.0.4.2 on windows XP

Can anyone help !

Web Interface / Server Settings / bottom of the left hand pane.

6.2.2. contains some improvements / fixes for people using Itunes with Slimserver.

I don't use Itunes, but a couple of things you may want to try, based on other posts I have seen:

Check that none of the files have accented filenames or tags;

A full manual rescan;

Switch off "Use Itunes" - rescan - Switch on "Use Itunes" to force a fresh scan.

Check the files are tagged properly with a program other than Itunes.

Also, you didn't do anything different when you ripped these CDs did you ? A different bitrate / different ripper ?
