Sorry Darren, that was me. Things are a little crazy here as you can
imagine.
We are working on this one. Please stay tuned for the 5.0.1 release.

The new version is a MAJOR rework, with new featues and new file organisation.
Due to the changes, all plugins have to be altered in order to work. The best
way to deal with this is to consider it as a brand new installation insted of
trying to simply copy over what you have. The odd, jumping problem is
definately not right, probably fixable soon. As for plugins, you can download
whatck.pl from here:
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/slimserver/tools/whack.pl

use it to convert your plugins. It does work for most of the commonly available
ones. If you have any from my site (deane-freeman.com/slimp3) then I already
have new verion online that you can download. I'm sure Kevin Walsh will have
his done in a jiffy too.

So I'm looking at a real-live Squeezebox as I type this -- it looks
really nice. It's got sort of a black wetsuit kind of look to it.
Display-wise, it seems identical to the Slimpy. And, of course, it's
still very light -- there's obviously a lot of air inside the new
case. :-)

Sean and Dean and company are doing some great stuff. And as they
pointed out to me today, this is just the beginning for Squeezebox.
Keep in mind how much the SliMP3 advanced in the two years it was out
there. Slim Devices users are in for a fun ride. :-)
