My SB3 wireless authentication issues were solved by firmware 37 http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22629, however, with FW41 installed I'm back to square 1, the SB3 and ZyXEL will not talk to one another.

Anyone have similar issues? Inadvertent bug introduced into FW41?

That's a shame. The changes in firmware 41 should improve compatibility for both WPA and WPA2. It appeared that firmware 37 worked well with WPA2 but caused WPA to fail with some routers. Have you tried WPA2 with the latest version?

I would be very interested to know of other reports where firmware 41 has stopped WPA or WPA2 from working.

From my earlier post the ZyXEL offers WPA & WPA-PSK. I was successfully using WPA-PSK on firmware 37.

I'm not sure my router supports WPA2, but will have a go tonight when I return from work. Perhaps there's a firmware upgrade for it to support WPA2.

Today Dean discovered a potential problem when using WPA following the upgrade to firmware 41. I am getting a fix into test for this now, but in case this is what is stopping your squeezebox from connecting try a factory reset (press and hold + while plugging in the power).

The workaround was even easier than that. Just press the left arrow
and go back through setup, confirming the settings that you already
had entered.

I doubt that this was introduced with firmware 41. Sounds exactly like what I needed to do with firmware 37:
