slimp3 stopped responding

I upgraded to version 5.0 and now the slimp3 won't do anything but display the "Now Playing" -- it doesn't respond the remote. Or my swearing.

5.0 is running on iMac, 10.3. Slimp3 is hooked up to router and I told it to use DHCP. I am not sure what I am missing here.
