View Full Version : SB2 freeze running firmware 28

Since downgrading to FW28, the freezes I was experiencing had
disappeared, however, when I got home last night, my SB2 was frozen at
a time earlier in the afternoon. I was able to ping the SB2, but the
web interface had forgotten it, and I had the "Client not found for
slimproto msg op: IR" messages in the log file, all symptoms that
others have reported. Had to power cycle then it was OK (no server
restart). My SB1G was fine.

So maybe it's not just the firmware..

Haven't tried FW36 yet. I'm running a recent (week old maybe) 6.5 svn
update.

I believe this is a server issue which occurs occasionally if the player reconnects (e.g. due to a wireless issue)

I've opened bug 3226 for this and am looking at it (as it is possibly related to some code I added!)

Could you try the latest 6.5 version. I put a fix in for this yesterday which I hope cures the problem I have been seeing.

I finally got the time to svn up last night. So far so good, though I
was only having a problem once a week or so. Will let you know if any
problems remain, however, sounds like this fixed it for others so I'm
expecting my issues to be resolved.

thanks!
