Someone mentioned before that the style sheet specified the font size in points. If I recall correctly (it's been a while) IE doesn't scale these at all. If you put on the accessibility options, large text, whatever, it stays the same. To be fair to MS, it's not a stupid way of doing it - they're just following a precise specification in the style sheet.

If you want the text to scale with the visibility options, you should ideally specify it in "em's". This is a unit of the width of an "m" at a certain point size, but scales up and down nicely.

I'm probably wrong. It's been years since I touched a style sheet. If you try this and mince your site, it's your own fault :)

Martin.

It works for other sites where the font isn't "locked" (I only use this as a
term as presumably there is something in the way it's coded that stops this
working) - but not on this board.

Personally I'm not actually too worried about this as I actually rarely need
the web view. I much prefer the new system without the adds!! ;o)

James

Sorry, don't know why it doesn't work for you. It's worked for me as far
back as I can remember and I'm currently using IE6 in XP. It also works in
applications that have IE windows in them, such as Outlook and Outlook
Express.
