'Lo All,
I just received two SB3s in the mail few days ago and have had some trouble getting them working. --One's working now but w/ limited functionality --explained here in a bit.

First Symptoms:
[] SB3 could detect my SSID
[] Provided WEP configuration (64b WEP, Shared 10digit hex key)
[] SB3 seemed to attache and prompt for DHCP ip.address.
[] ! WRONG IP received. --total foreign numbers not at all of my network.
[] SB3 unable to connect to my SlimServer, or SlimNet, et al

First Fix: (after reading some similar experiences w/ dLink)
[] 1st disabled all WEP (will have to revisit this as I'm not entirely comfortable running an open WiFi AP)
[] Disabled SuperG mode (maybe not such a great loss.. since the `784 is the only dLink WiFi component).

The above permitted a connect (to local computer name /but not my internet routable IP) --not too big of a worry yet.

ToDo: I'll re.enable WEP and see if I can get a connect.
I'll post more status as it comes.
UPDATE: WEP (with out SuperG) works just fine.

overall success! thanks to these forums! Thank you's to those before me.

Cheers! --- Micke

You may want to take a look at the wiki on these sorts of issues that's just been created:

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.cgi?NetworkProblemsBeginnersGuide

Also if all else fails you may want to try the latest SB3 firmware. Just download and install the latest SlimServer 6.2.2: http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/6.2.2/ and the latest firmware will be downloaded to your SB3 when you restart SlimServer.

The latest firmware addresses a couple of wireless issues and may help out if you're having trouble connecting.
