I don't know, maybe they truly are slime devices.

It's because that webpage is the first google hit for 'slimedevices'. If you look at the reader reviews, one of the people typed slimedevices when they meant slimdevices, which is what google is hitting.

If you just enter slimedevice into google, while it brings up that page first, it does ask you 'did you mean slim device?' which then links you to the right place...

It's the first match (the "I'm Feeling Lucky" match) you get back from
Google:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=slimedevices&btnI=Google+Search

In fact that page does contain the word "slimedevices". A few other hits
as well, here and there:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=slimedevices&btnG=Google+Search

But that page was #1, so chances are he has Firefox set to give him
Google's "I'm Feeling Lucky" match when he types a bare word (or words)
into the address bar.

In other words, no dark conspiracy here.

I also notice there's a cybersquatter at
slimnetwork.com.

Don't go there! It's one of those "All the web's
best searches!" pages. You know, the one that
sets off the idiot alarm in your head.

Check out that remote. Color display, artwork, no line of sight needed. I'll take two for my Squeezeboxes as soon as they're available.
