Does anybody know where I can get the WMA stream for KQED?

The wiki page reports that it's:

http://www.kqed.org/w/streamingfiles/kqed_wmp.asx

However, if you try plugging this into the radio tune-in window in SlimServer, you only get the sponsor's lead-in, and the stream never starts.

I've been trying to get this to work also. Haven't found a way.

Thanks. But man that sounds really crappy, is that the best quality WMA feed there is?

What about Real Audio feeds, does anybody know the URL for that? I had one but it doesn't work anymore.

I listened to both of the following streams and the Real Audio sounds much better then the WMA.

From the PublicaRadioFan.com site:

Real Audio:

rtsp://rmbcast.kqed-us1w.speedera.net/alias_sjose_abovn/broadcast/rmbcast.kqed-us1w/rmbcast_kqed-us1w_jan032006_0957_103496.rm

Windows Media:

mms://wmbcast.kqed.speedera.net/wmbcast.kqed/wmbcast_kqed_jan032006_0957_103495

For futre reference, all you need to do to find the embeded URL is to save the playlists locally (kqed_wmp.asx and kqed_real.ram) and open them in a text editor. You will see the URL for the bumper/promo they play, then an entry for the radio stream further down in the playlist.
