In setup I accidentally chose the wrong folder so I can't get to my music...According to my instruction to reset to factory defaults all I needed to do was hold down the add key but all that succeeded in doing was "zapping" a bunch of songs.

I don't mind running through setup again, it was fast and easy but how do I reset my SB3?

You shouldn't need to the reset the Squeezebox itself as none of this information is stored there. Open the web interface and go to "Server Settings", from there you should be able to change the path to your music folder.

Should you really need to reset the Squeezebox it's done by pulling the power plug then replugging whilst holding down the add key.

No need to do a factory reset. Just open the web interface and change the
path under "Server settings".

Ugh I see it now...unfortunately my laptop is 1920x1200 so I about go blind trying to see things sometimes! Thanks!

If I mainly want to control my music from the laptop can I do it from Windows Media Palyer or do I have to use the slimserver web interface?

The latter. And try increasing the font size in your browser :)
