I am currently running SlimServer 6.2.1. If I install the 6.2.2 maintenance branch, will my server and/or player settings be overwritten back to the defaults?

If so, is there an easy way to save my current settings (so I can refer back to them later) before I intall 6.2.2?

Th concept has nothing to do with slimserver in particular. It's called
"backup" ;-).

The settings are stored in a file called slimserver.prefs. Have a quick
search for this.

As Michael says, a backup is always a good idea... but I've upgraded many times and not yet lost my prefs.

Thank you, this is what I was looking for (I've since discovered that the file is actually called slimserver.pref - no "s" on the end).

A backup, while always a good idea, would not have resolved my question, since I would not have known to look for slimserver.pref ...
