Has anyone got slimserver running with the newest version of sqlite? I have tried slimserver 6.2.1, 6.2.x (2006-02-13, 2006-02-16, 2006-02-17) and 6.5b1 (2006-02-17), but all crash with the following message:
2006-02-17 18:04:50.1895 DBD::SQLite::db tables failed: not an error(21) at dbdimp.c line 398 at /opt/slimserver/Slim/DataStores/DBI/DataModel.pm line 167.
DBD::SQLite::db tables failed: not an error(21) at dbdimp.c line 398 at /opt/slimserver/Slim/DataStores/DBI/DataModel.pm line 167.

With sqlite 3.2.8 it works fine. perl-dbi was resently updated from 1.48 to 1.50, but that doesn't fix slimserver on sqlite 3.3.3.

thanks

I encountered the same problem when upgrading my server from FC4 to FC5 (which uses sqlite 3.3.3).

2006-03-29 10:02:02.9829 DBD::SQLite::db tables failed: not an error(21) at dbdimp.c line 398 at /usr/local/slimserver/Slim/DataStores/DBI/DataModel.pm line 209.
DBD::SQLite::db tables failed: not an error(21) at dbdimp.c line 398 at /usr/local/slimserver/Slim/DataStores/DBI/DataModel.pm line 209.

The problem seems to be an incompatibility between the latest sqlite included with FC5 (sqlite 3.3.3) and the DBD::SQLite perl module. I don't know where the bug lies, but I solved the problem by reverting to the sqlite 3.1.2 from FC4.

Perhaps others have found a better solution.

Different background, but certainly looks like it is all part of the
same issue. Please feel free to add your email addy to the cc-list
