The ads for SB3 say there is native support for FLAC, but many other formats are supported as well. What is the advantage of native support over ordinary support? Is there native supprot for wma lossless?

no added cpu usage for transcoding to a native format
fwd/rew scanning is available for native formats. transcoding does not
allow ffwd/rew

not at this time. if the lossless version is detected, then the WMA
native bails and moves on to use FLAC transcoding. As they are both
lossless formats, you should have no loss in quality and the CPU cost
should be minimal.
