All - we're going to bringing SN down for a software update around 5:30pm US/Pacific time.

I expect the work will take no longer than an hour.

Pushing this back just a bit - around 8pm US/Pacific.

<iNoah> I think someone should create a magazine for computer peripherals, called Card & Driver

Was SN acting up a couple of hours ago? Every time I tried to connect to SN, my SB3 would go thru reset.

There is a lot of work going on right now in order to bring up Pandora. There will probably be some instability and down-time as we update the software and bring up new systems at a new data center. We'll post here about scheduled maintenance, but feel free to let us know if anything unexpectedly breaks.

It's 11:49 PM Wednesday 2/8 in Michigan; I can't seem to log in to SN to setup an account. :-(

I'm still working on the upgrade.

I don't want to be a pest - can you give us an ACK when you're finished?

I'm getting an odd message from SqueezeNetwork (your squeezebox needs to have its MAC address reset) and I'm not sure if it has to do with the upgrade in progress or is more serious.

This Pandora hookup is a great idea...yet another killer app for the Squeezebox. Or a great interface for Pandora, depending on how you look at it.

The upgrade is done, but we continue to tune for performance.

This upgrade includes a check to see if the MAC settings on your
player have gotten corrupted, which has happened to a few people due
to power line glitches and a bug in the firmware.

To reset your MAC address:

- Press and hold the LEFT arrow button on the remote until you are
taken back to the setup menu.
- Scroll down to the View Current Settings item and press RIGHT.
- Scroll to the MAC address item. Press RIGHT.
- Use the remote to adjust the MAC address setting so it matches the
one printed on the bottom of the player. Press RIGHT to leave this
screen when you've fixed the last digit.
- Press LEFT to go back to the main menu and reconnect to
SqueezeNetwork.
