Does anyone running Slimserver on the new iMac ?
I'm about to change my Mac but I cannot afford to live without my
SliMP3 and SB2.
So any feedback would be appreciated.

The 6.2.2 nightly build should work on Intel Macs - please give that a go.

So is Slimserver the first non-Mac-branded ap to already be supported on the new Intel Macs?

There are reports that the preference pane does not work. SlimDevices
are on to this, but I don't know how far they have got.

I believe, though, that running from the command line should work ok.

You mean non-Apple? No - not by far. Universal binaries have been released
for other programs before Apple even announced the new machines @ MacWorld.

Yeah, that's what I meant. That'll teach me to write stuff at 3AM after a night of dancing ....

So, the Pref pane for the 6.2.2 nightlies is universal now? Or do you still have to run it from the command line?

The PrefPane is Universal now for all the nightly builds.

Sometimes the oddest things set me off. It's an occupational hazard, I suspect.

Does anyone remember the original Adventure game?

If we could coax 3 or 4 lines of display out of the SB3, we could probably play adventure on it :-)

I seem to recall that, somewhere, I have the source (or something claiming to be the source) written in, of all things, Fortran, I think. In any case, there are several versions lying about on the internet. IIRC there were, in fact, several versions of the original.

We could add cave sounds to it :-)
