I just noticed that my just-received SB3 is running version 21, but most references in the wiki indicate firmware version 28. Am I missing something here? I'm not finding any firmware info at all on the website.....

Firmware is included with the server software, and is tightly linked
with the version of software. If your server has not asked you to
upgrade your firmware, then you are using the right version. Installing
newer versions of slimserver will show on the player that you need an
update, and provies the instructions for doing so.

I'm curious - what SlimServer version are you running?

Not that it will help your situation as newer firmware
contains no changes to wireless operation, but I'm
just curious.

BTW wired operation was flawless with my SMC router,
so if you wire it up you should be able to update the
firmware without any trouble.

Hi Mark,
Please refer back to the SMC thread, so we don't up doubling up here!
Thanks!

Actually what I meant was, what SlimServer version
are you running? (That dictates the Squeezebox
firmware version).

Not what router firmware version, since I don't
have your router, nor am I likely to get one now. ;-)
