I have two SB1's (Living Room and Bed Room), Slimserver 6.1.1 (build 3774) and MusicMagic 1.1.6b (paid/registered version).

If I set the MusicMagic player to SlimServer, create a playlist in MusicMagic, and click Play, the playlist always and only goes to the Living Room unit.

Is it possible to select or change the default SB for external playlists?

(Sorry if this was asked/answered elsewhere, I searched the forums but couldn't find anything).

I believe you can right click on play in the MusicMagic UI and it will
give you a menu of the players it finds.
As this control comes from MMM, slimserver only does as instructed.

Okay, thanks, I see where you can create a mix in MMJB, and then right-click the MMJB Play button to get a list of available players, and for the Slimserver, a list of connected SB units. Each unit is listed by it's MAC address (client name would be easier to recognize).

However, when I select the Bedroom unit, the playlist still gets routed to the Living Room unit?

I am new to MMM and just came across the same problem. I have two SB3's and MMM always sends the playlist to only one of the two SB3's (no matter which player I choose).

I came across this post looking for an answer to the problem. Also, would be nice to be able to name the player in MMM instead of using MAC addresses.

These are MusicMagic issues that need to be addressed by Predixis -- the
creators of MusicMagic.

I reported the problem of multiple players some time ago and was told they
would work on it. I haven't bothered to check on whether or not it's
actually fixed in the 1.5 release candidate I'm using because the MM
interface is a bit cumbersome to use -- for me. I just have no need for it
to work any more because it is so easy to generate mixes from the SlimServer
interface.

Predixis provided me the new 1.5 version for Linux and now it sends the playlist to the proper SB3. I really like the concept of MMM, but have some reservations. For $20, I'll probably just go for it.
