I've got a black SB3 now, and I take back all that stuff I said about it
-- in person it is not as tall and tipsy-looking as it seems in the
pictures. It looks quite good on my mantelpiece.

Anyway, that frees up a wired-only Squeezebox G. This is the Squeezebox 1
model with a better screen. I did not do the upgrade, this one came from
Slim Devices with the screen installed. $100.

I'm in the Bay Area (Berkeley), and I'd prefer to sell it to someone local
and avoid shipping hassle.

stinkingpig,

I know next to nothing about the SB-G. Built-in wireless G support? Is the display similiar to the SB-2 (flourecent vs. LCD)? Any details appreciated.

In summary, 802.11B wireless (G stands for graphics), bitmapped VFD but
lower res than SB2, much less buffer memory.

Thanks Kdf,
Didn't realize the product comparison chart existed. Note: I thought that the SB3 had an improved linear power supply over the SB2.... or was that only a rumor?

One of the internal logic regulators changed from a switcher to a
linear. It does not refer to the external ac adaptor. That is still the
same little switcher.
